Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the UntilReady platform (“Service”), operated by BB Codex, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a company incorporated in the State of Wyoming, USA.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Service Description

• UntilReady is a time-lock encryption service for digital files
• We provide proof-of-existence through cryptographic hashing and blockchain anchoring via Arweave
• Files are encrypted client-side in your browser before upload — UntilReady cannot access, read, or decrypt your file contents
• The Service provides cryptographic guarantees, not legal advice. UntilReady is not a law firm and does not provide legal services.

Account Terms

• You must be 18 years or older to use the Service
• One account per person
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Since we use magic link authentication via email, you are responsible for securing access to your email account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must provide a valid email address for account creation

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, store, or transmit illegal content under applicable law
• Facilitate money laundering, fraud, or concealment of evidence of crimes
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the time-lock encryption mechanisms
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the encryption or proof systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Access or attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

Payment Terms

• Creating an account, drafting a capsule, and uploading files is free. Payment is required to seal a capsule — sealing is what produces the evidence certificate and the blockchain anchor.
• Each capsule is charged as a single one-time fee via Stripe Checkout. We do not currently offer subscription plans, and no recurring charge is created for your account.
• The fee for a capsule is shown on the Stripe checkout page before you confirm payment. Prices may change for future capsules; a change never affects a capsule you have already paid for.
• Capsule storage fees are non-refundable once blockchain anchoring has occurred. Anchoring to Arweave is permanent and irreversible — the cost of that transaction cannot be recovered.
• If a payment does not complete, the capsule simply stays unsealed and can be paid for later. We do not store your card details and no other part of your account is suspended.

Intellectual Property

• Your content: You retain full ownership of all files and content you upload to the Service. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content.
• Our platform: UntilReady retains all rights, title, and interest in the platform, its technology, and all patent-pending methods. Patent Pending — U.S. Application No. 63/977,739.
• “UntilReady” and “Eternal Time Capsule” are trademarks of BB Codex, Inc.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied
• We are not liable for data loss beyond the Service's reasonable control
• We are not liable for inability to decrypt files if you lose your encryption keys
• We are not liable for failures or changes in the Arweave blockchain network
• Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• In no event shall we be liable for any consequential, incidental, indirect, special, or punitive damages

Disclaimers

• UntilReady is not a legal service and does not provide legal advice
• Cryptographic proofs generated by the Service may support legal proceedings but are not guaranteed to be admissible as evidence in all jurisdictions
• The permanence of blockchain-anchored proofs depends on the continued operation of the Arweave network, which is outside our control
• Time-lock encryption security is based on current cryptographic standards, which may evolve over time

Termination

• You may close your account at any time by contacting [email protected]
• We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms
• Upon termination, your account data will be deleted after a reasonable period
• Blockchain-anchored proofs are permanent and will not be affected by account termination. These proofs exist independently on the Arweave blockchain.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions
• Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules
• Arbitration shall be conducted in the State of Wyoming
• Class action waiver: You agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis and waive the right to participate in any class action, collective action, or representative proceeding

General Provisions

• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
• Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and UntilReady regarding the Service.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement.
• Assignment: We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
